magazine analysis from 18001927

Pre production: minutes meeting

Scanned from a xerox multifunction printer from 18001927 This is the first meeting where we discussed costumes and when we will be shooting the movie. this was important for the actors to know because then they could keep that time and day free so we could shoot the movie.

Pre production: camera shot list

camera shot list 1 from 18001927 I have planned what camera shots I want to use for my movie and what I want in each scene. shot 2 from 18001927 this is a list of camera shots that I wanted in the movie and was helpful when it came to filming because I knew what I wanted each shot to be and where I wanted the camera to be placed and what movement I wanted on the camera

Pre production:Location release form

location release form from 18001927 i got permission to use the house to shoot my movie the owner has signed this contact to say she gives permission to have her house used in the movie. this is important because she said we could use it so later on down the filming process she cannot say that we cant use it anymore because she signed the contract saying that we could.

Pre production log:Contract

Scanned from a xerox multifunction printer from 18001927 Both actors that appeared in the film have signed contracts saying I could use them in the filma nd that it can be shown publicly. this was helpful because if they decided they didn't want to do the film they had already signed it saying they would which is legally binding otherwise they could be sued for not fulfilling the contract.

Pre production log:Personnel list

personnel list from 18001927 This is a list of people I need in my movie I only need two people to be in my film and they have both signed a contract to say they will be in the movie. both people that helped out helped with other things if they were not in the scene and they gave me some creative ideas for the scenes that were shot for the movie. this is helpful because I  knew who was going to be there on the day of the shoot.

Pre production log:Outline budget

budget from 18001927 the outline for the budget was important because it showed me how much I needed to make the movie happen. luckily we could borrow equipment from the college so we didn't have to pay for that and the actors lived close to the location so they didn't not have to pay for travel since they walked. the thing I paid the most for was the SD card which was £14.99 and that held the video clips from the shoot so I could edit them all together.

Pre production log:Equipment

equipment from 18001927 this is a list of equipment i need ad how i will be obtaining it or if i have already got it. the equipment listed helped us the day of the shoot and we had everything we needed to shoot the  movie and have it run as well as it did. the equipment was all intact and the battery for the camera was charged and dint die during the shoot which meant we didn't have to do reshoots another day.

Pre production log:Location scouting sheet

Image
location scouting sheet from 18001927 I found a location that I could use for my movie and I got a contact for the owner to sign to say I have permission to use this location. the location was perfect for the movie I was making and fir the locations I had drawn for my storyboard so I knew that this would be a suitable location to shoot my movie.

Pre production log:Storyboard

storyboard from 18001927 This is a outline of the plot and what the shots will look like for my movie. I did the storyboard to visualise the movie before I shoot the movie so I know what the scene are going to look like before i shoot the movie. the point in the storyboard is to show a general outline of what each shot is going to look like in the movie and it shows people the locations and gives the director an idea of what to do with the space provided in each scene this was helpful because i knew what shots I wanted in the movie before I made it.

Pre production log:Risk assessment

risk assessment part A from 18001927   I have done a risk assessment for the location I will be using and the only issue that has come up is a trip Hazard. To prevent this we will practise the scene before we film it to make sure the actress does not fall during the takes. I point in having the risk assessment is so that we can make sure no one is injured on set. this was useful because if the actress trips she could sue the film producers for unsafe working environments. risk part b from 18001927 i performed a risk assessment and the only risk that has arose is a trip hazard to prevent this will will practice the scene before filming to ensure the actor does not fall when running up the stairs
